Graveside services for Sheila Hopper Aust will be Friday, January 28, 2022, at 2:00pm at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Scooba, MS. Bro. Chris Gully will be officiating. Webb & Stephens - Dekalb has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Mrs. Aust, 66, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Sheila grew up in Scooba, MS, and graduated from West Kemper High School. She went on to graduate from East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University with a degree in Library Science. She retired from Kemper County High School, where she was the Librarian. Sheila loved the Lord, her country, and her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the biggest cheerleader of her KCHS Wildcats, her Scooba Tech Lions, and her MS State Bulldogs. She was a friend to all, a mother to many and a sister to her friends.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ken Aust of Scooba; two daughters, Mindy Geiselman and her husband, Kris, of Starkville, MS, and Emily Aust of Meridian, MS; one son, Clint Aust and his wife, Brandy, of Helena, AL; four grandchildren, Vivian Renfeld, Violet Renfeld, Grady Aust and Roe Aust.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Grady Hopper, and her brother, Joseph Hopper.

Pallbearers will be Clint Aust, Brian Gibson, Kim Key, Gene McCarty, Tommie McCarty, and Marcus Wood.
