Billie Jo Sodoma

December 9, 1941 — August 4, 2022

Public visitation for Mrs. Billie Jo Sodoma will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens-North.

Our dearest beloved mother Billie Jo Sodoma sadly passed away August 4, 2022, at the age of 80. She was a wonderful, dedicated mother who put so much of her time, energy, pride, and effort into her children. She was always there when we needed her, graciously putting her children and others needs before her own. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of New Hope Baptist Church as well as her community. She will be dearly missed by all those who’s lives she touched. She was an angel on earth and God’s servant to others. She was a true blessing to all who knew her.

Her son-in-law, Michael W. Miles, wanted to make known his gratitude of thanks and respect to Mrs. Sodoma by saying “Billie Jo was like my second mom, always giving thanks for the things I would do, no matter how small the task. She was a kind, giving soul and would do anything she possibly could for any of us. I will greatly miss her, never forgetting all she has done for me.”.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Sonny Sodoma; children, Steve Sodoma (Sheryl), Sissy Miles (Michael), and Mike Sodoma (Tami Herrington); grandchildren, Kristen Tabor (Darren), Sarah Sodoma, Clay Sodoma (Abby), Joseph Milles (Abby Johnson), Reanna Miles, John Caldwell, and Samantha Caldwell; great grandchildren, Brantley Tabor and a baby girl due in December; and bonus great grandchildren, Chandler and Beckett Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Louise Martin.

Pallbearers will include Jimmy Coleman, Jackie Coleman, Darren Tabor, Joseph Miles, John Caldwell, and Clay Sodoma.

A graveside service will be privately held.
