A graveside service for Wynona Sandra Reece will be held Monday, August 10, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Leslie Aucoin officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:30 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North.

Mrs. Reece, 78, of Meridian, passed Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at her residence.

Wynona was a long-time member of Glad Tidings Church, where she adored her church family. In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening, her favorite being roses. She will be most remembered for being a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lamar Reece; children, Kimberly Reece Powell (Patrick) and Kevin Lamar Reece (Denise); grandchildren, Travis Morris, Denver Morris, Matt Powell, and Ashley Powell; great grandchildren, Courtney Powell, Cassidy Powell, and Preston Powell; sisters, Jeralene Alexander and Kay Francis Smith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Dewey and Lillie Irene Raines Cato; and sisters, Mary Jean Weaver, Shirley Brown, and Irene Bryan.
