Winfrey Sikes

Mr. Winfrey “W.C.” Sikes, 104, of Meridian, passed away at his residence on Wednesday.

He was a longtime manager for Dixie Express Co. and Roadway Express, from which he retired.  He was a Mason for over 75 years and a member of the Hamasa Shrine.

Mr. Sikes was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son Shot Sikes (Sara); grandchildren Clay Sikes (Gina), Kyle Sikes, Deryk Rieves (Jen), Hallie Rainwater (Chris) and Spencer Sikes (Lyndsie) along with numerous great grandchildren.

Mr. Sikes was preceded in death by his parents William and Clara Sikes, his wife of over 75 years Agnes Kinard Sikes; his son, William W. Sikes; his daughter in law Sandra Sikes and daughter Linda Rieves.
