Services for Willie Pearl Truhett will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Earl Wheatley and Dick Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the House Community. Ms. Truhett, 100, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Beverly Living Center. She was a member of Northpark Church of God and was retired from Burnley Shirt Factory. Survivors include her nieces, Dwight Watts, Pamela Hemphill, Frances Breazeale, Florence Meador, Genell Benedict, Linda Stribling, Patricia Hoffman, Ann Bullock, Paula Therrel, Sheila Frost; nephews, Burnell Truhett, Don Joiner and Tommy Truhett; special friends, Vern Humble and Mary Bond. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.A. and Leona Truhett; brothers, Frank Truhett, Ronald Truhett, Clyde Truhett, X.L. Truhett, Earl Truhett and Denton Truhett; sisters, Ethel Blalock, Cecil Truhett, Irma Joiner and Martie Griffin. Pallbearers will be Darrell Lantz, L.B. Bullock, Brian Frazier, Mark Breazeale, Gary Paul Truhett, and Carl Watts. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Joiner, Burnell Truhett, O.C. Breazeale, Benny Watts and Vern Humble. Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
