A memorial service for Thomas Hotchkiss will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, 4:00 p.m. at First Christian Church with Pastor Mark Benson officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

On Saturday November 11 2023, Thomas Odus Hinson Hotchkiss, “Tom”, left this world to join God, his Father and Savior in Heaven. Tom was born in Savannah, Ga on November 12,1955,to William and Jean Hotchkiss. He was the 3rd Child of 6.  Tom grew up in Summerville, GA and Jacksonville, Fl. He attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a degree in accounting. While attending the University of Central Florida, He met his beloved wife, Kathleen. Tom joined the United States Air Force in 1979, the same year Tom and Kathy were married on May 12, 1979. Tom was stationed at Tyndal Air Force Base in Panama City, Fl. While living in Panama City, Kathy and Tom had Shelley and Mark. Tom completed his MBA from the University of West Florida in 1982. Tom took his family on lots of adventures around the world including living in Turkey, Ohio, Fort Walton Beach, Fl, Los Angles, CA, and Melbourne, Fl. Tom loved spending time with his family. He loved boating, playing music, and being involved in the church. He retired from the USAF in 1996. After his retirement, Tom continued to serve his country by working with Civil Service. 

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Edna Kathleen Schell Hotchkiss, his daughter Shelley Louise Hotchkiss-Whitehead, her children Rhett Gavin, Halleigh Kathleen, and John Henry “Hank”.  His son, Mark Thomas Hotchkiss, wife,Jennifer Weber Hotchkiss, and their children, William Thomas, Hannah Grace, and Caroline Elizabeth. His surviving siblings are David and Elizabeth Hotchkiss, William and Julie Hotchkiss, and sisters, Mae Johnson and Randi Hotchkiss. And 7 nieces and nephews.
