Spencer Shurley
September 19, 1948 — November 22, 2008
Services for Spencer Earl Shurley will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Chapel with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Shurley, 60, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church at Bonita.
Survivors include his sister, Janice Shurley of Meridian; nephews, Joseph Scruggs and Christopher Scruggs; a niece, Theresa Barnes; two great-nephews and one great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Virginia Smith Shurley and a brother, Aubrey Shurley.
