Mrs. Sarah Ballinger Perritt

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ballinger Perritt will be held Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Webb Chapel with the Revs. Gerald Little, Cory Stott and John Perritt officating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to service. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Perritt, age 82, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Laurel Care Center in Laurel. Mrs. Perritt was born January 27, 1927 to the late John Dee and Mary Ballinger and married to the late Loy Hardie Perritt, Sr. She retired after 34 years with Bell South Telephone Company and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She founded the Trinity Dyslexia Center, which she directed for twenty years. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church

She is survived by her son, Hardie Perritt and wife, Nan of Laurel; granddaughter, Emily Wright and husband, Kevin; grandson, John Perritt and wife, Ashleigh; two great granddaughters: Sarah Perritt and Ann Hardie Wright; two sisters: Ouida Weir of Meridian and Rachel Robinson of Milton, FL.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Loy Hardie Perritt, Sr.
