Sandra Johnson

Graveside services for Mrs. Sandra Gough Johnson will be held Wednesday at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Meridian. Rev. Charles Davis will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson, 75, of Meridian, passed away Saturday at her residence.

She retired as the administrator for Stephens Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and served on the Calvary Christian School Board.  She enjoyed working with her flowers when she was able to care for them. She also enjoyed any college football game on television, did not matter who was playing, she watched it. She was also a fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons Charles L. “Chip” Johnson, Stephen Chad Johnson (Jaime); grandson Corey Johnson (Holly); granddaughters Madeline Johnson and Taylor Johnson. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Layne Johnson and Charlee Johnson along with her brother Otis Gough Jr.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents Otis and Imogene Gough and her husband Charles H. “Charlie” Johnson.
