Samuel Bruner

Graveside services for Samuel Richard Bruner will be held Friday, November 8, 2019, at 12:00 noon, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Kemper County. Bro. Ralph Campbell will be officiating. Visitation is Thursday, 5-7 pm at Stephens Funeral Home — Meridian.

Mr. Bruner, 54, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at his residence. He was a long-time truck driver for Atlas Roofing. He loved computers, video games, his grand babies, and he loved talking. He was also very fond of grilling. In fact, he considered himself a grill master.

Mr. Bruner is survived by his mother Allie Faircloth; his daughters Suzanne Bruner and Leanne Campbell (Rex); his grandchildren Sara-Ann Chambliss, Alyssa-Ann Campbell, and Ivery-Ann Campbell; a sister Lynn Bruner and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Ann Bruner; a niece Ruby Sumlin and his grandmother Ruby Faircloth.
