A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 16th, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Arkadelphia Baptist Church, for Rose.

Rose Sharon Smith was born to Dicie and James Canterbury on September 8th, 1952, in Merdian, MS. Rose Sharon Smith passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2026.

Rose was an amazing woman. She was kindhearted and would always help and loved anyone and everyone that needed it. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed being a doting grandmother to her cherished granddaughter.

Rose was married to her soulmate Bobby Smith for 56 years. They were married on June 7th, 1970, at Bobby’s Uncle’s house. A memory that will always be cherished by her beloved husband.

Rose enjoyed tending to her roses and flowers. She enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains with Bobby. She also dearly loved antique shops and classic cars. Her favorite classic car was a 1964 Chevrolet. In addition to her love of classic cars her 2012 Ford Escape had a special place in her heart

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Dicie and James Canterbury, and her brothers, James and Aaron Canterbuy.

Rose is survived by her darling husband, Bobby Smith; her daughter Crystal Marshall; and her precious granddaughter Meagan Smith.

Rose is gone but never forgotten.
