Ronald Cates

Services for Ronald Keith “Roundman” Cates will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home Downtown. Interment will follow at Snell Church of God Cemetery.

Mr. Cates, 53, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Keith was born on May 3, 1968, in Meridian to Ronnie and Kathy Cates. He was a long-time trucker and loved to build things in his spare time. To know him was to love him. He had such a big heart and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Kaleigh Graham (Josh); stepdaughter, Ashlee Farmer; one grandson, who he loved with all of his heart, Blaine Graham; parents, Ronald and Kathy Cates; brothers, Timmy Cates (Angela) and Michael Cates (Angela); nieces, Hollie Cates and Amber Cates; and nephew, Matthew Cates.

He is preceded in death by his grandparent, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Davidson and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny B. Cates.

Pallbearers will include Timmy Cates, Michael Cates, Matthew Cates, Josh Graham, Austin Robinson, Dewayne Robinson, Scott Campbell, and Jeremy Adcock.

Honorary pallbearers will include Blaine Graham and Braxton Boyd.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
