Roland Hailes

Graveside Services for Roland G. Hailes will be Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 2:00 pm, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Bro. Chuck Overby will officiate. Mr. Hailes, 96, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hailes is survived by his daughter June H. Jones (Robert); his son Eric Hailes along with three granddaughters and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 65 years, Theresa Sellers Hailes.

Roland grew up in Clarke County, MS. He proudly served his country during WWII and was present when Normandy was invaded, and he spent over 30 years employed by Transco Pipeline.
