Rita Butler

Services for Rita Faye Butler will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown with Bro. Jimmy Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Miss Butler, 92, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at her residence.

Rita was a special lady who loved going to church and her church family. She always wore a smile and enjoyed playing with her baby dolls. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by brothers, James E. Butler (Sandra) and Leland Butler; sister-in-law, Barbara Butler; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Diane Hoffer; and her church family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis G. and Gladys Butler; and siblings, Ray Butler; Evelyn Scowden; and Mae Jean Dearman (Gene).
