Ricky Joe Madere (Rick), 42 of Meridian, MS; born July 8, 1979 left this earth peacefully on April 3,2022 for his heavenly home. He was loved by many, and a long time member of the Zero Community and Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday April 7th, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Webb Stephens Funeral Home downtown Meridian; the funeral will be Friday the 8th, 11:00 am at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in the Zero Community, Bro. Jim Hutchinson is officiating, and music by Daniel Houze.
He was an avid swimmer, he started his legacy as a swimmer with the Meridian Swim Team. He was the "One Man" swim team at Clarkdale Attendance Center, where he graduated in 1997. Rick continued on with his passion for swimming by competing in the MS State Games and Triathlon State Games. To this day, he still holds the State Game record for his age category.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Madere; son David Naiman (Alexa); daughters, Sydney and Abigail. His proud mother, Susan Madere; sister Angela Jackson, children Brittany and Doug; Uncle Jake All Jr. (Rose) lil Jake. Cousins: Anne Crow(Gary), Garrison, Zane, Amy McGowan(Colby) lil Colby; Matthew Frank(Whitney), Katelyn Aquire (Daniel), Maylen, Travis Troungo (Chelsi); Henri and Rose Bud.

Ricky was preceded in death by his Father, Eldridge (Gene) Madere; Grandfather Jake All Sr.; Grandmother, Juanita All; Merliss All; Norma All; Amanda St. Pierre; Uncle Joe Palooza, Uncle Lee Moss.
Pallbearers will be: Trey Cooper, J.P. Hayes, Trint Shull, Bobby Gibson, Jeremy Meadows, Rufus Stewart, Monte Young, Kevin Frazier, and Randall Johnson
