Ricky Roberson

Ricky Everett Roberson passed through Heavens Gates on June 13, 2021 at Merit Central in Jackson, MS due to complications from COVID-19. He was born January 26,1953 in Meridian, Ms. He is preceded in death by his parents (Sam and Macie Roberson), his brothers (Sammie Roberson and Randy Roberson), his granddaughter (Adilynn Claire Cooper) and his beloved English Bulldogs (Cuz and Daisy). He is survived by his wife of 46 years Lynn Ethridge Roberson, his daughters Kacie Roberson, Robbi Cooper (Son in Law Shay), Cory Roberson, four grandchildren (Camden, Aubri, Madison, and Jackson), his Brother William Roberson (Jan), his sister, Brenda Hurtman (John), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. He was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher.  He loved all things outdoors, had a passion for coaching and sports, but was at his happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18th at 11 am at Stephens Funeral Home chapel.
