Richard Woods

Richard Allen Woods of Meridian, MS went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2022 at age of 83. He was born January 21,1939 in Bristol, TN to Herbert J. Woods Sr., and Goldie Woods. Richard had 3 brothers preceding him in death- Herbert J. Woods Jr., Jack E. Woods, Bob W. Woods.

Surivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Wanda Chancellor Woods. He had 3 sons, Craig Martin Woods of Pittsboro, NC, Jeffrey Garrison Woods and his wife, Beverly, of Bristol, VA, Eric Jonathan Woods and his wife Regan of Tampa, FL.

Wanda's twin sister, Brenda Russell and husband Herman, daughter, Cassandra Pigg and her husband, Joey of Philadelphia, MS, their daughters, Karyn Alexis Watts, Chloe Katherine Hand.

Grandchildren: Jacqueline and Kevin Woods, Ashley and Austin Odum, Reed, Jenny, and Julia Woods. Great Grandchildren: Raylan and Meredith Watts, and Sam Hand, Mariah and Abigail Odum, Bella Kimberlin, Mekenna and Maddox Morris.

Graveside services will be Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Mr. Horeb Baptist Church, 5513 Zero Road, Meridian, MS at 11:00 am.
