Services for Richard “Richie” Allen Massingill Jr. will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North with Bro. David Hopkins officiating and Dr. Scott Massingill assisting. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mr. Massingill, 66, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife Daphne Massingill; children, Brandon Massingill and Lauren Pendragon (Kim); stepdaughters, Melanie Diamond and Raven Fergurson (Ethan); grandchildren, Makagan, Braylon, and Violet Massingill, Matthew Jenkins, Augustus Pendragon, Lukas Johnson, and Trevor and Maci Diamond; mother, Ruth Arnold; and brother, Dr. Scott Massingill (Anne Marie).

He is preceded in death by infant son, Brice Massingill; granddaughter, Annabeth Johnson; father, Richard Massingill Sr.; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Massingill and Mr. and Mrs. Johnie Walker.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
