Richard King

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Richard Wayne King Friday, December 3, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Bro. C.A. Farmer officiating.

Mr. King, 62, of Meridian, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at UAB in Birmingham, AL.

Richard never met a stranger. He loved to help people and always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed racing and going to the track. However, there was nothing he loved more than spending time with his grandkids. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Brandie King (William Robison), Kandi King (Rob Smith), and Randy King (Alisa); grandchildren, Baylee Robinson (Brandon Ford), Kaleb Walters (Karson Cook), Kalei Robison, Rayden King, Izzi King, Blakley Robison, and Karter King; brother, Mac “Booger” Urston II (Marie
Robertson); special loved ones, Shawn King and Christy King-Holloman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean King Urston; father, Mac Arthur Urston; and grandparents, John and Mildred King.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
