Rebecca Jo Kyzar

Rebecca Jo Kyzar, 67, of Meridian, left this earthly life on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Ms. Kyzar was born on February 15, 1959, to James Andy and Zelda Mae (Moak) Kyzar in Jackson, Mississippi. She worked for several years in education as a substitute teacher until her health declined. She had resided at R. P. White Nursing Facility since 2024, where she made many friends with the other residents and staff.

She was known to have a great sense of humor and occasionally enjoyed casual conversations. Ms. Kyzar enjoyed reading, coloring, and completing word searches in her personal time. Her presence and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on all who came into contact with her, and she will be deeply missed.

Ms. Kyzar was laid to rest in Cedar Haven Cemetery on Monday, June 15th, surrounded by those her loved her and knew her best, her wonderful RPW family.
