Nadine Bishop Clements, 89, of Meridian, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center.
Nadine will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. The baby of the family, Nadine was born to Silas B. and Lorena Estelle (Smith) Bishop on August 11, 1937, in Meridian and lovingly welcomed by her five brothers and sisters.
Nadine married the love of her life, Clayborne Clements, Jr., on April 10, 1959, and from that day on, they were always together. Nadine loved children and worked with and cared for them her daycare until retirement. After retirement, Nadine and Clayborne spent their time traveling the world. They had great adventures that took them to Alaska, Europe, and Hawaii. She would go anywhere, just as long as Clayborne was by her side.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Rick Clements (Vickie) of Walla Walla, Washington; her daughter, Misty Roach (Thomas) of Butler, Alabama; her beloved grandchildren, Alec Clements, Emily Clements, Allison Williams (Kevin), and Caleb Roach; along with two great grandchildren, Clark and Olivia Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Lorena Bishop; her beloved husband of 60 years, Clayborne Clements, Jr.; along with her siblings.
The staff of Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes-North are grateful for the opportunity to honor Nadine’s life and memory and to serve her loving family during this time.
