Melinda Snowden

A private funeral service will be held for Mrs. Darnell Snowden. Bro. Tommy Miller will be officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Snowden, 69, of Meridian, passed away at her residence on Thursday April 23, 2020.

She was retired as a head cashier at Winn Dixie after 44 years. She enjoyed reading and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She always put others needs before her own. Mrs. Snowden is survived by her husband Laverne Snowden; grandchildren Kameron Branning and Kaylee Brown and cousin Debbie Womack. Mrs. Snowden is also survived by four sister-in-laws and three brother-in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Betty Knight; daughter Paula Michelle Snowden Brown and son Steven Laverne Snowden.
