Graveside services for Mary Miles Key George will be held on Monday, December 4th, 2023 at 11:00am at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Collinsville. Reverend Jeff Hancock will conduct the service.

Mrs. George died Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Neshoba County Hospital Nursing Home. She was born October 11, 1931, and lived her entire life In the Collinsville and West Lauderdale community. Mary was a graduate of the Rush Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and was a registered nurse. She worked in nursing for over forty years, most of that time with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, where she cared for many Navy and Marine Corps families in the Meridian area.

For many years, Mary was an active member of the Collinsville Church of God, now the Cross View Church.

Survivors include her grandson, Jacob Key (Cammie); sister, Katie Miles Kemp; brothers-in-law, John George (Faye) and Jim George (Patti); and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. George; her first husband, Mike Stephens Key; her son, Mike Stephens Key, Jr. (Steve); her brother William (Billy) Miles, M.D, PhD; and her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lavelle (“Dell”) Miles.

Pallbearers will be five of her nephews and one of her nieces: Andy Braddock, Chuck Braddock, Judson George, Dwayne Jones, William Kemp, and Pam Kemp, PhD.
