Marvin Allen

A graveside service will be held for Mr. Marvin "Sonny" Allen Saturday, February 17th, 3:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Memory Garden with Wayne Bishop and Ben Jones officiating. Barham Funeral Home Forest Lawn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Sonny, 68, of Lauderdale, passed away Wednesday at his residence.
Sonny was a Veteran of the US Army who enjoyed yardwork, fishing, and the outdoors in general. He was also known as a kind, hardworking man who would help anyone in need. He will be most remembered for being a devoted husband and father.
His survivors include his wife Dianne Allen; children Greg Allen and wife Laura, Katrina Allen, George Matthews, Susan Bow and husband Gary, Cynthia Cochran and husband Jimmy, Joel Baker and wife Diana, Stanley Baker, and Carey Baker; 15 grandchildren; mother Evone Allen; and brother Michael Allen.
He was preceded in death by his father "Red" Allen.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
