Graveside services for Marilyn Joyce Briggs Thompson will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Brother Jack Giles will be officiating.
Ms. Joyce, 76, passed away May 16, 2020, at Queen City Nursing Center. She was a retired dispatcher with E911. She loved playing Bingo and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her children David (Tammy) Thompson and James (Maika) Thompson; grandchildren Colby Thompson (Brandy), Logan Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents David Robinson and Edna Currie; a brother Randy Rose and a sister Carolyn Beckman.
