Services for Margie Dianne Watkins will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North with Bro. Jim Feirtag officiating. Interment will follow at Beat Line Baptist Cemetery in Decatur, MS. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Watkins, 75, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, peacefully at her residence.

Dianne was a marvelous cook and enjoyed canning, she was especially famous for her salsa and squash relish. She loved to serve, whether it be her family, friends, or sitting with the elderly as a personal care attendant, she was always doing for others. She loved the Lord and her church family at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, where she attended for many years. Her grandchildren were her world, and she was the best “Nanny” and Mamaw Dianne”. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jimmy Watkins Jr.; children, Joe Pritchett (Lynn), Angie Crouch (Zane), and Tim “Tinker” Pritchett; grandchildren, Joey Pritchett (Christy), Justin Pritchett (Hayley), Josh Pritchett (Daisy), Ben Pritchett, Jeanette Howell (J.C.), Thomas Crouch (Shelby), Alyssa Mosley (Call), and Matthew Pritchett; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Buddy Booth, Leona Booth, Elizabeth Booth, Sue Shuff, Tommy Booth, and Ricky Booth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, K.C. and Hattie Dean Burroughs Booth; granddaughter, Madeline Pritchett; and siblings, Dorothy Dean Weir, Jacqueline Booth, K.C. Booth Jr., Cathy Booth, Timothy Allen Booth, and Robert Wayne Booth.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Theresa Dunham for the loving care she gave Dianne during her illness.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
