Margaret Carol Rigdon, 78, of Collinsville, passed away peacefully at her home on the evening of Sunday, November 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Carol will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She loved God and wanted everyone she loved to know God as well. She was a long-time and devoted member of Duffee Church of Christ of Little Rock. She was known to have a generous and giving heart, helping anyone in need.
Carol worked for many years with the Mental Health Associations locally, but most recently, she enjoyed being a homemaker and caregiver to her mother and aunt. Although she had her own health issues, she was always attentive to the needs of everyone around her. She truly believed love and patience conquers all. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 60 years, Odis Wayne Rigdon; daughter, Stephanie LeAnne Motes (Steven); mother, Mary Thelma Talbert; sister, Shirley Raley (Stan); grandchildren, Sarah Thomas (Jonathan), Adam Thomas, and Preston Tomberlin; along with two great grandchildren, Charlie and Silas Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, William Everett Talbert; son, Christopher Wayne Rigdon; sister, Mary Ann Pickard; father and mother-in-law, Odis Edward and Mildred Laudine Rigdon; aunt, Johnnie Reid; and brother-in-law, Donald Lee Rigdon.
Visitation for Carol will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, from 10-11:00 am at Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes-North. Funeral Services will begin in the chapel at 11:00 am with Bro. Irven Skinner and Bro. John Skinner officiating the services. Burial will take place in the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers for Carol’s service will be Steven Motes, Adam Motes, Jonathan Thomas, Bruce Akin, Dennis Rigdon, and Preston Tomberlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorials to be made in Carol’s honor to the India Mission at the Duffee Church of Christ or to your favorite charity of choice.
The staff of Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes-North is grateful for the opportunity to honor Carol’s life and memory and to serve her loving family during this time.
