Mr. Mack Harold Idom

Services for Mack Harold Idom will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Chunky Baptist Church in Chunky with the Reverend Wayne Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Chunky Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Idom, 88, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He retired from the Air Force where he served in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. In 1969 he opened a barber shop in Chunky, which he operated until he retired in 2006.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Janie T. Idom and numerous nieces and nephews.
