Lawrence Williams Sr.

A private memorial service will be held for Lawrence Edward Williams Sr.

Mr. Williams, 71, of Meridian, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at his residence.

Lawrence was a veteran of the United States Navy. He will be remembered most for being a devoted husband, and loving father, stepfather, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Williams; children, Orlando Edwards of Jackson, MS, Lawerence Williams II (Richelle) of Rochester, MI., Christopher Williams I of Meridian, MS, Kimberly Williams Fair (Carl Sr.) of Birmingham, AL, and Brandi Williams (Latoya) of Bailey, MS; stepchildren, Kasey Boswell, Veronica Boswell, and Angel Davis; 25 grandchildren;  2 great grandchildren; siblings, Leroy Williams, Ricky Williams, Jerome Williams, Caroline Claiborn, Doristene “Dot” Mac, and Herdecine Stephens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents John Williams Sr. and Jerlean Holloway Williams; son, Joseph Patrick Williams; granddaughters, Arlissa and Carlissa Williams; and brother, John Williams Jr.
