Mrs. Laurine was a long-time member of Hebron Baptist Church, and she dearly loved her church family. She was a devout Christian, prayer warrior and servant of God, and served in many roles in the church. She has been known for her hospitality, leadership and hard work. Mrs. Laurine was employed at various places during her life, but her most memorable employment was during the nine years she worked at Jefferson Davis Academy. She loved working in her vegetable garden and had a passion for growing flowers. She was an excellent cook and loved to see people enjoy her meals. She had unconditional love for her family, and was a faithful friend to many in her community.

Mrs. Laurine is survived by her daughters, Debra Stokes (Gary) and Cheryl Staton (Hagen); grandchildren, Jeremy Bunyard (Ashley), Kelly Meglich (Mark), and Krystal Greathouse (Nathaniel); great grandchildren, Jackson, Jonathan and Jolee Bunyard, and Luke and Logan Meglich; her brother, Raymond Brewster (Peggy), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Carlisle; her parents, Amos Hampton and Louise Brewster; her brother, Loren Brewster, and her sisters, Frances Rawson and Faye Ford.
