Obituary

Keith Lewis, 72, of Collinsville, Mississippi, passed away at his residence on July 6, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Keith was born on December 16, 1953, in Meridian, Mississippi. He graduated from Meridian High School with the Class of 1972 and went on to build a long and respected career as a master carpenter. His craftsmanship, integrity, and willingness to help others made him the kind of man people admired and looked up to.

Keith never met a stranger. He had a warm smile, a kind heart, and a servant's spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was an incredibly gifted musician and singer, and whenever he sang around the campfire while camping, people from throughout the campground would gather just to listen. His love for music brought joy to countless family gatherings and friendships over the years.

Keith also found great happiness in the outdoors. He loved spending time fishing, hunting, and riding horses, making cherished memories with family and friends.

Above all, Keith's greatest passion was his love for the Lord. His faith was evident in the way he lived each day. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his church, whether through service projects, meeting practical needs, or simply being available whenever someone needed him. His humble heart and unwavering faith were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Keith is survived by his beloved spouse, Dewauna Lewis; his children, Matthew Lewis, Eric Mason, and Matthew Mason; his grandchildren, Cooper Lewis, Nolan Lewis, Karis Dear, and Kinley Mason; his great-granddaughter, Evie Mae Dear; and his brother Mark Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Holland Lewis; his mother, Kathleen Munn; his stepfather, Jim Munn; and his sister, Carla Baker.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 9, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

Keith's legacy of faith, kindness, hard work, and love for his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
