Junior Cooley

Graveside services for Junior Watson “JW” Cooley, 91, will be Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 11:00 am at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro. Gary Bicksford will be officiating. Mr. Cooley passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at Anderson’s Regional Medical Center. Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.

JW was retired after 42 years with Burlington Northern railroad. He was a proud veteran of The United States Army, having served during WWII. He also enjoyed farming, raising cattle and hogs.

He is survived by his children Lynn Lundquist (Scott) of Ft. Worth, TX and Alice Moulds (Richard) of Meridian, MS.; three grandchildren David Moulds, Kristina Lundquist and Jennifer Lundquist; 10 great grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a sister Mary Hazel Wright.

He was preceded in death by his parents Will and Sarah Cooley; wife Mae Ann Cooley as well as 6 brothers and sisters.
