Joyce Hurtt

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Goss Hurtt will be held at 11am Saturday, January 16th at Union Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Vick will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Hurtt, 72, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loving family.

She was retired as a medical records clerk. Mrs. Hurtt loved to read and spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by daughters Pamela Bradshaw and husband Richard of San Angelo, TX, Hillary Espey of Meridian and Angela Coleman and husband Jason of Meridian; siblings Clyde Goss Jr and wife Linda and Marian Purvis. Mrs. Hurtt is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Reece Hurtt; son Larry Reece Hurtt Jr; mother Mamie Arledge Hughes; father Clyde Goss Sr; sister Linda Bowen and granddaughter Autumn Espey.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until service time.
