John F. Ivy, Jr., 65, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Mr. Ivy was born in Meridian Mississippi and was a resident of Vancleave. He loved his family and his favorite sports, football, basketball, golf, and fishing,

Mr. Ivy is preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Beason Pickard and his father, Robert Earl Beason; and brother, Bob Beason.

He is survived by his daughter, April Ivy of New Orleans; son, John B. Ivy of Florida; sisters, Bonnie Lill of Florida, Betty Fountain (Greg) of Navarre, FL; brother, Tom Ivy of Pembroke Pines, FL, and a favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Beason Cemetery, Meridian, Mississippi. The memorial service will be provided by Webb & Stephens Funeral Home. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Kelli Shepperd at Webb & Stephens.
