John Paul Estes

Services for John Paul Estes will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North with Bro. Darrell Dumas officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Cemetery.

Mr. Estes, 72, of Toomsuba, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at his residence.

John Paul loved to be outdoors and work outdoors. Whether it was cutting grass or restoring old cars, he was no stranger to getting his hands dirty. He was a man of God, devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda Estes; children, Shawanda Parker, Cathy Garrett, and Jason Hughes; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Johnson and Rusty Estes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Estes and Ruth Betts; and siblings, Timothy, Gary, and Mike Estes.

Pallbearers will include Shane Garrett, William Champion, Justin Martsching, Brian Johnson, Robby Limerick, and James Murphy.

The family requests that family and friends in attendance come in casual dress, including pallbearers.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
