Jerry Calvert

Graveside services for Mr. Jerry Calvert will be held Saturday at 2pm at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, MS. Bro. Tommy Miller will be officiating.

Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Calvert, 77, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired assembly operator for General Motors. Mr. Calvert loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed crappie fishing. The grandchildren have wonderful memories of the time he spent fishing with them. Mr. Calvert also enjoyed eating out especially breakfast with friends at Mr. Rogers. Mr. Calvert also served in the Mississippi Army National Guard.

He is survived by his stepdaughter Tammy Graham (Travis); grandchildren Tyler Graham (Kylie), Trevor Graham (Skylare); great-grandchildren Landyn Pierce, Carter Graham; niece Kay Harrell and nephew Randy Clark (Brenda).

Mr. Calvert was preceded in death by his parents Audrey and Lona Calvert, wife Janiece Calvert;sister Ramona Clark and brother in law Bill Clark.
