Jerald Ray Earley

A graveside service for Mr. Jerald Ray Earley will be held Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Len Wedgeworth officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Earley, 86, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at J.T. Champion Nursing Facility.

Jerald retired from the Meridian Fire Department with over 20 years of service. After his retirement from the fire department, he spent time working for Anderson Hospital. 

He is survived by his stepbrother, Larry H. Johnson (Sharon); niece, Laura J. Sullivan (Steven); great nephew, Franek R. Sullivan; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Linda Agent Early; father, Chester Earley; and mother Gyula Wedgeworth Johnson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Sandra White, Grady and Jennifer Yeager, Compassus Hospice, and the staff of J.T. Champion Nursing Facility for all the love and care they provided during Mr. Earley’s illness.
