Jean Ann Boling Wagner

Jean Ann Wagner, 71, of Lauderdale, MS, passed away in the early hours of October 4, 2025, after an extensive battle with cancer.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and nurse.

Jean was a resident of Dalewood Lakes, which was her happy place. She was a long-time surgical RN for Ochsner Rush Hospital for over 25 years. She enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife at her home in Dalewood. She also spent many, many weekends in Gulf Shores, AL, her 2nd happy place. Jean was married to Joel F. Wagner III for 38 years and the two of them enjoyed many building, painting, and remodeling projects during those years. However, there is nothing Jean loved more than her “puppy angels”, Lucy, Satchie, and Sadie.

Survivors include her husband, Joel F. Wagner III; daughters, Sarah Boling Simoneau (William) and Leslie Boling Adamson (Jake); stepson, Joel F. Wagner IV (Kimberly); stepdaughter, Amy Wagner Langlois; sisters, Danna Adkins (Tullos) and Sherry Williams; and 11 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her infant son, Thomas Hatten Boling; and mother, Bobbie J. Graham.

The family would like to thank Harper’s Hospice for their incredible care and attention given to Jean at the end of her life.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
