Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2008 James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Lamar Lifer officiating. Burial will in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Covert, age 79, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Queen City Nursing Home. She retired from Meridian Public Works.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Wright and husband Dan; Sister, Virginia Baskett; Brother, Johnnie Stinson and wife Ellyn; Nephews, Robert Baskett and Howard Stinson; also by her beloved pet Skeeter.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Jimmy Carson Covert III; Parents Howard James Stinson and Emma Kay Shamburger Stinson.

Visitation will be Monday, July 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
