James Thrash

Services for James E. Thrash will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. in Webb Chapel with the Revs. O. Lyn Nations and John Wornall officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Thrash, 88, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. He enjoyed helping and sharing with his family and friends that he loved so much. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Marjorie Thrash, of Collinsville; daughters, Retha Beddingfield and her husband Bobby, of Collinsville, and Rhonda Culpepper and her husband Gary, of Brandon; brother, Robert L. Bobby Thrash and his wife Mazell, of Meridian; three grandchildren, Allen Beddingfield, of Northport, Ala., Gwen Wornall and her husband John, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Morgan Culpepper, of Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Betty Alexander Thrash; brothers, William Thrash and George Edward Thrash; and sister, Florence Harris. Pallbearers will be Gary Thrash, Kenny Duett, Tony Allen, Hank Burns, Danny Miles, and John McAlister. Honorary pallbearers will be Ransom Gough, Wayne Roberts, Jerry Harwell, and Doc Wilson. Visitation will be Saturday, April 4, 2009 two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
