James Lewis

Services for Mr. James Lewis will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020, at 3:00 pm, at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Douglas Manning officiating. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 1 pm until service time.

Mr. Lewis, 75, of Quitman, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at University Medical Center. He was a retired welder. He loved to work on his truck, fool with his horses and dogs, and just basically piddle around.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lewis; Son, Tony Lewis (Lisa); Daughters, Barbara Taylor (Keith), Samantha Reese (PeeWee), and Stefanie Lewis (Bo); Thirteen Grandchildren; Twenty Two Great Grandchildren; Two Sisters, Gerldine Holifield and Jestine Prescott; Brother, Sonny Ritchie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and EttaV Lewis; Three sisters, Merline Perry, Perline Slay, and Myrtle Crooms; and Brother, Randy Lewis.
