James Garrett

Graveside services for James W. Garrett will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Garrett officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Garrett, 64, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was an U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Judy Garrett, of Meridian; sons, Mike Garrett and his wife Kim, of Meridian, and James Garrett and his wife Sherri, of Birmingham, Ala.; daughters, Jan Harris and her husband Jimmy, of Meehan, Debora Garrett, of Meridian, and Mary Biessenherger, of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Charles Ray Garrett, of Meridian; sisters, Inez Gray Thompson and Pat Ann Newell, both of Meridian, and Jane Polansky, of St. Louis, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made to a charity of your choice. Visitation will be April 3, 2009, from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
