James Martin Bullock

    James Martin “Marty” Bullock, 68, passed away the evening of Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian.

    Marty was born to Hubert Carl and Jeffie (Aycock) Bullock on October 25, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee. Marty was a quiet man, who loved to collect Matchbox Cars and loved the classic Chevrolet Camaro. He also loved to travel from time to time, visiting the mountains or the Grand Canyon. But above all else, he was an avid Alabama Fan.

    Marty is survived by his son, Chandler “Chad” Bullock; his brothers, William “Carl” Bullock (Melinda) and Hubert Leslie “Les” Bullock; along with his nieces and nephews.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Carl and Jeffie Bullock; and his grandparents, Leslie and Eva Aycock.

   Marty’s family will have a private memorial gathering at a later date to honor Marty’s life.

   In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Marty’s honor to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the National Stroke Foundation, as both of these illnesses greatly affected Marty during his life.
