Funeral services for Ms. Irma Lee Flynt will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Meridian with Dr. Raymon Leake. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Irma Lee Flynt, age 95, of Meridian, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1914 in DLo, MS. She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. M. L. Flynt, Sr. and sister of Dr. Mayo Flynt and Dr. M.L. Flynt, Jr. all of Meridian, MS. Ms. Flynt was a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian where she was a member of the Hope Sunday School Class. She was active in WMU. Ms. Flynt graduated Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, MS in 1937. Ms. Flynt was the office manager of Flynt Medical Clinic in Meridian for 50 years. She spent her life in service to her family and friends.

She is survived by her nephew, Roger Mayo Flynt, Jr. and wife Gaye of Oxford, MS; Great Nephew, Mayo and Rene Flynt, Sarah Flynt, and Olivia Flynt of Jackson, MS. John and Nell Flynt, Parks Flynt, and Dabney Flynt of Jackson, MS. Russell Parks and Molliann Flynt of Gainesville, FL. Mary Kathryn Flynt of New York, NY.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Meridian, 701 26th Ave. Meridian, MS 39301.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home.
