Ila Maxine Reynolds

Services for Ila Maxine Reynolds will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Jones Chapel Church of God with Bro. Jim Caldwell and Bro. Ron Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Reynolds, 83, of Clarkdale Community, passed Saturday, January 9, 2021, at her residence.

Maxine was a devoted member of Jones Chapel Church of God and was cherished by her church family. She served her community for 47 years at the Clarkdale Superette, where she retired in 2015. She always greeted people with a smile and was known as “Maw” or “Mac” to her customers and co-workers. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her community and all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Glen Allen Martin (Vicki), James Martin (Pam); grandchildren, Suzie Smith (Billy), Leigh Ann Martin, and Amanda Martin; great grandchildren, Bethany Weir (Zach), Brook Thomas, Gabriel Scrimpshire, Autumn Scrimpshire, Dallas Martin, Raelynn Martin, Jackson Brooks, and Graham Martin; great great grandchild, Vanessa Weir; siblings, Marie Crawford and Willis Ross Townsend; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, L.H. Reynolds; and sister, Jane Parten.

Pallbearers will include Gary “Bones” Davidson, Greg Chatham, Dallas Martin, Matthew Creighton, Mack Creighton, and Billy Smith with honorary pallbearers Jackie Caldwell and Tyler Isham.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to service at the church.
