Horis Earl Dallas

A graveside service for Mr. Horis Earl Dallas will be held Monday, September 18, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Garden with Bro. Greg Mangum officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North.

Mr. Dallas, 88, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the The Preserve Assisted Living facility.

He will be remembered most for being a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Deanna Dallas; daughter, Sandra Robinson (Larry Sr.); grandson, Larry “L.J.” Robinson Jr. (Molly); great grandchildren, Ella and Beau Robinson; sisters, Annette Boatner, Margie Truhitt, and Faye Phillips; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Julia Dallas; brothers, Bobby and Charles Dallas; and sisters, Sarah Jones and Clara Lee McMullan.

Pallbearers will include Larry Robinson Sr., L.J. Robinson, Tony Phillips, and Keith Boatner.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staffs of Servant’s Heart Home Care and The Preserve for the care they have shown to Mr. Dallas and his family.
