Glen Copeland was born on March 27th, 1951, to Alfred and Mae Copeland, in Meridian, MS.
Glen passed away on April 6, 2026, in Meridian, MS surrounded by his loving family.
Glen had a full life in Mississippi where he was a self-employed businessman for over 50 years working in lawn care. He was also enlisted in the Army National Guard for six years. He was a lover of music and especially enjoyed attending the Sucarnochee Revue at The Temple Theatre.
Glen enjoyed the outdoors and would often take long strolls in the woods. His love for the outdoors included fishing as well. Glen was also known for his sweet tooth and would never pass up good treat when given the chance.
Glen loved his family more than anything. Most of all, he will always be affectionately known as Grandaddy by the grandchildren he so dearly cherished.
Glen Copeland is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Lee and Mae Cumberland Copeland.
Glen is survived by his children, Brian Copeland (Brandy), Matt Copeland (Lorna), Michael Copeland, Helen Copeland and Emily Copeland; His sister, Neldean Copeland Allen; Grandchildren, Capri Smith Daugherty (Brett), Abigail Smith, Lane Copeland (Jenni), Hailey Copeland, Brooke Copeland, Alex Copeland, and Adalyn DiMarco; Great Grandchildren, Greyson Slade, Meadow Daugherty, Mia Copeland, and Everly Kidd; and several Nieces and Nephews.
Services for Glen Copeland will be Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at Webb and Stephens Funeral Home-North. A visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 PM, with a burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, in Meridian, MS.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Dementia Society of America.
