Lt. Colonel Frank R. Burr

Memorial Services for Lt. Col. Frank R. Burr will be held Friday at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Stonewall with Bro. Jeff Jeffers officiating.

Colonel Burr, 93, of Stonewall, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Golden Meadows Specialty Care in Quitman. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a mason and a shriner.

He is survived by his wife, Lyla G. Burr a son, Robin K. Burr stepchildren, Curtis Wright, Carol McIntire, and Charles Davis nieces, Helen Dutton and Linda Doneburg and a nephew, Mark Doneburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Orissa Burr and his first wife, Mary Louise Kamper.
