Mrs. Francis Louise Sellers

Services for Mrs. Francis Louise Sellers will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Webb Chapel with the Revs. Hiram Coker and Leon Ross officiating. Burial will be at Meridian Memorial Park. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sellers, age 87, of Meridian, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the R.P. White Nursing Facility in Meridian. She was a lifelong resident of Meridian and a member of Hawkins Memorial Methodist Church, a member of United Methodist Women, and she served on various UMW committees. Mrs. Sellers and her late husband, George L. Sellers were proprietors of Sellers Grocery in Meridian for many years.

She is survived by her a daughter, Glenda Carver Hall of Kenner, LA; son, Joe Pat Lannon and wife, Bobbie of Collinsville, MS; three grandchildren: Michael Bonner of Westwego, LA; Marcie Lannon Duke and husband, Landon of Collinsville, MS; JoBeth Lannon of Gulfport, MS; three grandchildren: Michael Raymond Bonner of Long Beach, MS; Lanna Duke and Steven Duke of Collinsville, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George L. Sellers; parents; five sisters and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be Eugene Anderson, Maurice Boswell, Wayne Crawford, Landon Duke, Bob Lewis, Kevin Rose, Leon Ross and Brian Trayal.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to service.
