Graveside services for Snookey Kent will be held Saturday, January 22 at 1:00 pm at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Kent, 89, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2022. She was a former employee of Riley Hospital and Peavey Electronics. All that knew her know that she loved her family, sports, and Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Linda Elliott Houston (Rick), Madison, MS and son Allen Kent, Greenville, SC; five grandchildren who fondly called her “Dook” William (Amy), Hickory, NC, Daniel (Katie), Brandon, MS, Susanne Elliott, Andrew and Stuart Kent; four great-grandchildren Carter, Addie, Matthew, and Mary Catherine Elliott. Special nephew Jim (Debbie) Hurt, and many special nieces and special friends in Meridian whom she loved so much.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Kent.

In all times and through all things, Friendship is a reminder that Love endures. Thank You for the Kindness shown to our Snookey and all of us. May God Bless you all.
